Paul Rousseau - K1 Kickboxing - Kids Karate - Teen MMA

Sabaki World Champion 1998

Shidokan World Championships - Finalist

International Kyokushin Champion

Ontario Boxing Champion

Paul Rousseau is the most important piece of the puzzle of MTC Windsor. His overall knowledge and dedication to members and to the competitive Team Maximum is second to none. He is the most knowledgable overall trainer/instructor at MTCwindsor when you put it all together. His dedication to continue to improve each day/day out unselfishly is not for himself anymore but for the members of the club/team that one day look to reach their Goal. His spirit of a competitor on the mat grappling with the guys during training to understand it better under head grappling instructors Toan Lam and Phil Navaro further gives him the drive to translate it into the teams mixed martial arts game. His mental toughness gives everyone hope that you can do what ever you believe in and his past resume of a competitor quickly makes you realize just that.
An example of just that was where his most solidifying performance of his career was an extra 4 round extension fight "war" that was declared a draw after the original 6 rounds at the world championships in the finals. From that performance alone made everyone realize in the past, present and future athletes/members of MTC WINDSOR that talent alone can't do everything but the work ethic, drive an discipline you put in your training leading to any event, gives you a chance to live out that dream
